Virgin Hotels Las Vegas is the rebranded Hard Rock Hotel — a music-forward, personality-driven resort about a mile east of the Strip. The pool complex is excellent, the rooms are modern, and the casino has a lively energy. The off-Strip location requires transportation but comes with free parking.
The rooms are modern and well-designed. The Virgin Hotels Chamber room concept — a dressing room that separates from the sleeping area — is a genuinely clever layout.
Three outdoor pools including the famous Rehab pool party area. One of the better pool complexes off-Strip.
How this resort holds up in peak Vegas summer (June–September)
Virgin Hotels has a solid pool for an off-Strip property and no resort fee is a meaningful summer value. The lack of indoor connectivity to other resorts is the main drawback. The Shag Room bar is a good evening escape from the heat.
The original Hard Rock Hotel opened in 1995 and was one of the most iconic rock-and-roll hotels in Vegas history. Sold to Virgin Hotels in 2020 and rebranded in 2021.
