The Cosmopolitan
The Strip's cool kid. Best dining collection in Vegas, the only balconies on the boulevard, and a casino floor that was literally designed to keep you from gambling.
"A non-gaming, non-smoking all-suite hotel in the heart of CityCenter — the best option on the Strip if you want to escape the casino floor entirely."
Overall Rating
Vdara is the non-gaming, non-smoking all-suite hotel within the CityCenter complex, adjacent to ARIA. It's the best option on the Strip for travelers who don't want to be in a casino. The suites are large, the spa is excellent, and the location — connected to ARIA and the Shops at Crystals — is superb.
If you don't gamble, Vdara is the best value in CityCenter. Lower resort fee than ARIA, same location, all-suite rooms.
The kitchen facilities make Vdara ideal for stays of 3+ nights. You can save significantly on food costs.
All-suite property — the smallest units are studio suites at around 500 sq ft. The kitchen facilities are a genuine bonus for longer stays. Very quiet — no casino noise.
One pool with a whirlpool. Smaller than ARIA's pool complex but much quieter. The pool deck has good views of the Strip.
How this resort holds up in peak Vegas summer (June–September)
Vdara is arguably the best summer stay on the Strip. The Aria Express Tram connects you to five resorts without stepping outside. Access to ARIA's pool complex. No casino crowds. The non-gaming environment means the common areas never feel overwhelmed even in peak summer.
Opened in 2009 as part of the MGM/Infinity World Development Corp CityCenter development. Designed by Rafael Vinoly Architects. Non-gaming by design from the start.
Non-gamblers who want a Strip location without casino noise. Couples on romantic trips. Business travelers who want a quiet base. Families.

The Strip's cool kid. Best dining collection in Vegas, the only balconies on the boulevard, and a casino floor that was literally designed to keep you from gambling.

The fountains are the reason Vegas exists. The rest of the resort is trying to live up to them — and mostly succeeding.

Vegas's most famous resort is also its most confusing to navigate. The toga party ended in 1990. The labyrinthine casino floor never did.
