Circa Resort & Casino
The first ground-up downtown resort in decades. Stadium Swim is the most impressive pool concept in Vegas. Adults only, by design.
"Derek Stevens' flagship downtown property — high energy, Detroit-themed, and one of the most fun casino floors on Fremont Street."
Overall Rating
The D is Derek Stevens' original downtown property — the same owner who built Circa. It has a Detroit theme (Stevens is from Detroit), a lively casino floor, and a prime location directly on the Fremont Street Experience. The casino is one of the most energetic in downtown.
Renovated rooms with modern finishes. Good for the price point.
Small rooftop pool. Not a destination pool but functional.
How this resort holds up in peak Vegas summer (June–September)
Small pool but the Fremont Street canopy provides shade. Good AC. Summer crowds are manageable compared to the Strip.
Opened in 2012 by Derek Stevens on the site of the former Fitzgerald's Casino. Stevens also owns Circa Resort & Casino, which opened in 2020.
Party-focused travelers. Fremont Street regulars. Derek Stevens fans. Anyone who wants to be in the middle of the downtown action.

The D is the most fun casino floor on Fremont Street — prime location, high energy, and a genuinely entertaining experience. The resort fee is high for downtown, but the location makes up for it.

The class of Fremont Street. The pool has a shark tank in the middle of it. The rooms are the best in downtown Vegas (after Circa).

One of the most storied names in Vegas gambling — Benny Binion's original joint, now operating as a casino-first property with the historic Hotel Apache tower.
