The Rundown

Planet Hollywood is a solid mid-tier Strip property with a great location at the center of the Strip, directly connected to the Miracle Mile Shops. The rooms are modern and well-maintained. The casino is lively. The Zappos Theater hosts major residencies.

WinMiracle Mile Access

Direct access to Miracle Mile Shops means you can shop, eat, and walk to half the Strip without going outside.

Pro TipZappos Theater Residencies

Check the Zappos Theater calendar before booking. If a major artist is in residence, the hotel energy is electric.

Wins & Watch-Outs

Wins

  • Dead-center Strip location
  • Connected to Miracle Mile Shops
  • Zappos Theater for major residencies
  • Solid room quality for the price

Watch-Outs

  • Resort fee is aggressive
  • Casino can get very crowded on weekends
  • Not as luxurious as the price sometimes suggests

Room Reality

The rooms are modern and reasonably sized. The Luxury rooms have been renovated and are a solid value for the location. Views from upper floors are excellent.

Pool Intel

Two outdoor pools on the 25th floor. Solid pool experience with good views. Not as impressive as Cosmo or Bellagio, but a legitimate pool.

Summer Score

How this resort holds up in peak Vegas summer (June–September)

3.5Overall

The Miracle Mile Shops provide extensive air-conditioned coverage — one of the better indoor mall connections on the Strip. The pool is functional but not a summer destination. The Zappos Theater shows are a good evening activity when it's still 95°F outside.
